JCA Board of Directors

On May 25, 2011, the Board of Directors adopted the following statement to oppose the proposed marriage amendment:

"Jewish Community Action (JCA) stands for marriage equality and the end of all forms of discrimination against same sex couples who want to marry and have all of the same legal benefits.  JCA strongly opposes the constitutional amendment that would enshrine discrimination into our state constitution by defining a legal marriage in Minnesota as only between a man and a woman. We believe this amendment is against Jewish values of fairness and equality and an assault on Minnesota values."
