Lauren Muscoplat

Community Organizer

Lauren joined Jewish Community Action in 2007 after serving as a volunteer, teaching a social justice class for Jewish high school students. She has had the opportunity to work on issues such as immigrant rights and workers' rights while at JCA, and has developed curriculum and trainings on issues and for specific constituencies, including young people and our leadership development initiative, the Tzedek Institute. Lauren is an alumni of the Jewish Women’s Archive Educators Forum and the Organizing Apprenticeship Project.  Lauren enjoys working in the Jewish community she grew up in and meeting people where they are to work on social justice together.
