An evening with Indie Jews and Jewish Community Action

By definition, kosher food complies with Jewish dietary and ritual law, but does it comply with Jewish ethical law and our social justice values?

A movement is underway to create a Hekhsher Tzedek, a certification that would improve working conditions, environmental standards, and business

practices in kosher food-producing businesses as a way of embodying our values as Jews. Learn about this exciting and important campaign and share

your ideas while enjoying kosher wine and appetizers.
