On Thursday, March 21, Jewish Community Action and the National Council of Jewish Women will host a legislative training on our campaigns for gun violence prevention, the freedom to marry, immigrant rights, and foreclosure prevention. Although progressive bills on these issues are polling extremely well with Minnesotans, many of our elected officials are not taking the kind of leadership that we need them to. And because legislative deadlines are fast-approaching, it's critical that we organize and train now, and talk to our state representatives and senators before it's too late.
The training--which is open to all, regardless of experience or background--will cover tips and strategies for citizen lobbying, phone-banking, and more. After the training, you will have the tools you need to discuss the issues that matter to you with your legislators!
