One in four people in the United States has a criminal record. What happens when we looks at the other 75%?
What about those of us who have had the luxury of living without an official reminder of a past mistake? We Are All Criminals interviewed hundreds of people around the country telling stories of the crimes they got away. This project challenges society’s perception of what it means to be a criminal and how much weight a record should be given, when truly—we are all criminals.
We invite you to join us for a much-needed conversation about incarceration and second chances.
April 21st, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the St. Paul JCC.
RSVP by Apr. 15 to nora@jewishcommunityaction.
This event is sponsored by Jewish Community Action, the National Council of Jewish Women-Minneapolis, American Friends Service Committee Twin Cities Healing Justice Program, and Linden Hills United Church of Christ in partnership with We Are All Criminals
