The League of Women Voters works to grow, empower and protect the vote.

Please join LWV Edina to learn more about the erosion of voting rights by all forms of voter suppression, and what you can do to help protect the vote. We will hear from and engage in discussion with three speakers:

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon, who works with township, city and county officials to organize elections on behalf of Minnesota's nearly 4,000,000 eligible voters, and to ensure that our election system is fair

Carleton College Political Science Assistant Professor Christina Farhart, Ph.D., whose work blends political science, psychology and mass communication

ACLU-MN Executive Director John Gordon, who has over 40 years of legal experience in the Twin Cities and has taught law as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and University of St. Thomas Law Schools
