Jonathan Gershberg is the JCA Communications and Membership Manager. Originally from Connecticut, Jonathan first came to Minnesota to attend Macalester College in St. Paul. After graduating with a Bachelors in Anthropology and Creative Writing in 2013, Jonathan worked for various Twin Cities nonprofits, including the Twin Cities JCCs, where he directed the Twin Cities Jewish Film Festival and the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. In that time he became a JCA member and has volunteered in several campaigns for housing and racial justice. He now proudly calls himself a Jewish-Minnesotan, and works to strengthen powerful relationships that lead to meaningful structural change. He spends his free time writing, playing basketball, and revising designs for increasingly absurd Rube-Goldberg machines.
