Combating Hate Organizer

Jewish Community Action seeks an energetic and dedicated Combating Hate Organizer to lead our work to fight antisemitism and other forms of oppression. This is an opportunity for someone who excels at bringing people together around a shared analysis of power building and safety.

About JCA

Jewish Community Action is a 30 year old membership-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes the Minnesota Jewish community for racial and economic justice. We work in solidarity with other marginalized communities throughout our state in coalition spaces, interfaith initiatives, and local groups. These relationships drive our investment in and accountability to each other. We honor our history and ancestors, we commit to our shared future, and we activate our community to make real social change.

The Opportunity

JCA works with the Minnesota Jewish community, progressive allies, clergy, and elected officials to develop a shared analysis of antisemitism and other forms of oppression, and tactics to keep our communities safe. Over the past six years of the Combating Hate campaign, JCA has built a reputation as a good organizing partner in the Jewish community and beyond. The next Combating Hate Organizer will develop relationships based on solidarity to build power to improve safety for all Minnesotans.
