Join community partner, the Home for Good Coalition, for an in person/virtual meeting about the Minnesota Rehabilitation and Reinvestment Act (MRRA).

The law will give thousands of incarcerated and supervised people a chance to earn a reduction in their time by following an individualized plan: over 1300 in prison and 6700 on supervision over the next 16 months.

Yet the DOC has already put up a memo saying that it will take 12-18 months for anyone to get release credits, despite writing in the law, a $200 million budget increase in its name, and planning for the year, including an extensive initial pilot.

It’s time to let them know that this “delay” is not okay!
